PC Millie (Amelia) Brown initially came across as a bit of a scatter-brain. She assembled order to her life and the whirl of thoughts in her mind with lists and meticulous note taking. Chaos made her anxious, so Millie always strived to be organised. With four years experience under her belt, she enjoyed the structure of the police service.

If she wasn’t a federation representative in the Met., Millie would have been a health and safety advisor. No rule was too big to be ignored. She always proceeded with caution. Millie was too self-conscious to speak up at times – but when she did it was invariably immaculately thought-through and a logical suggestion, which would contain a gem which unlocked the case.

Millie quickly made her mark on Sun Hill, rising to the challenges that befell her and she became more confident and capable as a result. Her one Achilles heel was DS Max Carter, with whom she shared a close attraction. Millie left Sun Hill without explanation in December 2009.
